The main door has the Lanyon Coat of Arms and the moto “Vive et Viva” (Live and let live). The original house was modernised in the 16th century into an Elizabethan “E” shape but a wing, during Victorian times, was lost and replaced by the south sitting room and the main front stairs.
As with most farmhouses the most used door is into a large kitchen which features an Aga, and an oak kitchen table that seats 12. The kitchen also leads to the main hall - the hall accesses the dinning room, main staircase, panelled drawing room with TV, south facing sitting room with double doors to the conservatory overlooking the walled garden. All the rooms downstairs have open fire features augmenting the central heating.
Upstairs there is a galleried landing to two double en-suite bedrooms and two twin bedrooms with views over either front or back garden, the family bathroom and a cloakroom. The backstairs lead to one double en-suite and one twin en-suite both having views over front garden
